Directions for Use

Placement is as simple as 1-2-3:

STEP ONE

  • Loop and place ClearBand around arm
  • Center pad over access site
  • Apply slight thumb pressure on pad, remove needle
  • Apply firm thumb pressure
  • Pull strap up and out to tighten (locking tab will click)

STEP TWO

  • Press locking tab forward to secure
  • Check for pulse and bruit

STEP THREE

Fine Adjustments:

  • Tighten - pull up on strap
  • Loosen - pull locking tab outward and slide strap

Bulk Non-Sterile
This product has been validated for the following cleaning methods:

Cleaning Instructions

Clean ClearBand with ENZOL or similar enzymatic, low foaming, mild pH, easily rinsed detergent:

  1. Use 1 ounce detergent per gallon of water.
  2. Completely cover the band and allow to soak for no less than one minute.
  3. Rinse thoroughly to remove detergent.
  4. Dry using a sterile cloth or air dry.

High Level Disinfection

Use cold sterilization method for Cidex or a similar concentration (2.4%), gluteraldehyde solution.
Always follow manufacturer’s instructions for:

  1. High Level Disinfection,
  2. Bucket/Tray Manual System and
  3. Rinsing Instructions with a Sterile Water Rinse.
